Nicki Minaj needs to "rest her voice for a few days" instead of performing in the UK.
Nicki Minaj had to cancel her appearance at this weekend's V Festival in the United Kingdom due to damaged vocal cords.
According to reports, Nicki's publicist cited "strained vocal cords" as the reason for her absence.
Minaj performed at a free concert on Wednesday (August 15) in New York alongside Drake, Lil Wayne, and Foxy Brown, despite advice from her doctor advising rest.
The rep says her voice is now "worse" and must "rest her voice for a few days."
