Oscar De La Hoya and 50 Cent Twitter War
50 Cent went in on Oscar De La Hoya on Twitter over Floyd Mayweather future.
After the news broke that 50 Cent became a licensed boxing promoter, it was only a matter of time before someone took shots at the new kid on the block. Golden Boy Promotions own, Oscar De La Hoya, took to Twitter to bad-mouth 50.
The war of words started when Floyd Mayweather's current promoter, De La Hoya, tweeted, "Everyone wanting to be a boxing promoter? Good luck. Easier said then done."
All though it wasn't directly addressed to 50 Cent, it was clearly a shot at The Money Team's (TMT) head honcho.
50 clearly hasn't been one to back down in the past. He is rather known to humiliate and destroy his competition.
"I don't gamble[...] Floyd do, but I bet you won't be promoting Floyd Mayweather no more. TMT," 50 Cent tweeted last night (July 25) making reference to the new Money Team company.
With 50 Cent in the picture, boxing may start getting a whole lot more interesting again.
