Audio Of Bangladesh Dissing Swizz Beatz Released
ThisIs50 released an audio recording of producer Bangladesh calling Swizz Beatz "irrelevant."
Earlier this week, producer Bangladesh made headlines after dissing producer Swizz Beatz, saying he was not relevant in today's industry.
The following day, Swizzy took a shot at Bangladesh, calling the "A Milli" pruducer a clown. "Don't let this clown pump you up with this relevant," he said.
Bangladesh then retracted his statements via a Tweet, saying the comments were printed out of context and that he was not trying to diss Beatz.
The writer who did the interview, XXL's Chanel Jasmin Clark, then got offended that Bangladesh would send out a tweet trying to discredit her work, and then decided to release the audio of the interview.
According to Clark, she only used Swizz Beatz as a reference, which Bangladesh then blew out of proportion.
"I don't think Swizz is relevant," Bangladesh said in the interview. "I'm keeping it 100."
"I think there's a difference between relevance and musical relevance," he noted. "You married a lady that's poppin' [Alicia Keys], you know it'll give you a lot of relevance, but you gotta make hits. Ain't no hits. Are you relevant for the craft you're doing or the life you live as far as the decisions you make?"
