Lil Wayne & Rihanna Make Forbes' Ten Top Paid Celebrities Under 30
While the women clearly dominated Forbes 2012 list of the Ten Top-Paid Celebrities Under 30, Lil Wayne was the only guy that made the list.
Coming in at No. 8, Weezy earned $27 million at the age of 29, which, according to Forbes, is his "most lucrative year" to date, which can be linked to his latest album, Tha Carter IV, which sold almost 1 million copies its first week last summer. A majority of his earnings for 2012 also came from doing over 50 shows, grossing upwards of $600,000 per night. Tunechi also launched his clothing line, Trukfit, and landed his first big, multimillion dollar endorsement deal with Mountain Dew.
Rihanna, age 24, also made the list for the very first time, landing at No. 3 with $53 million. After dropping hit after hit, she has also signed endorsement deals with Vita Coco and Nivea, which helped her earnings catapult the past 12 months. She also has her Reb\'l Fleur fragrance, and has done over 85 shows in the past year.
18-year-old Justin Bieber, who occasionally does his thing rapping, is the second highest-earner this year, making $55 million mostly from album sales.
Country singer Taylor Swift came in at No. 1 with $57 million.
